Each year, we pause to recognize a member of our Weisbrod Health family who embodies what it means to be Stronger Together. This year’s honoree is Connie Richardson, RN a nurse whose career with us began in 1979, when she started as a CNA, and who went on to earn her nursing degree from Lamar Community College in 1983. In the decades since, Connie has been nominated for the prestigious Nightingale Award not once but twice, in 1994 by the University of Colorado School of Nursing, and again in 2003, both times in recognition of her excellence in human caring. Her patients and neighbors have said it best in their own words, thanking her for showing up in the middle of the night, for going the extra mile, and for the steady kindness she has brought to this community for more than four decades.
