Beth Bell, Chief Executive Officer

Beth grew up on her grandparents’ ranch in Haswell, Colorado, about 21 miles west of Eads. She and her brother were the 5th generation to call Haswell home. She started working at Weisbrod when she was in high school as a Dietary Aide and Activities Assistant. She graduated from high school in 2003 and moved to Connecticut to attend nursing school. After nursing school, she worked at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah, as an Oncology nurse for 10 years. While there, she received her bachelor’s in nursing from Regis University and her master’s in nursing from the University of Utah. She worked as a bedside nurse, clinical nurse educator, and nurse manager.

In 2017, she stepped into a full-time administrative role and took a position at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, as the Ambulatory Operations Director. She managed all the outpatient practices in Idaho, Utah, and Nevada and had a very active role in business development and clinic operations. In her last role there, she was the Administrative Director for the new satellite campus in Lehi, Utah. In 2023, she had the opportunity to move back to Kiowa County and assume the role of CEO for the Kiowa County Hospital District with her husband, Chad, and their two sons. They love this community and feel blessed to be a part of it.

Shannon Dixon, Chief Financial Officer

Shannon grew up in Arlington, Colorado, about 36 miles west of Eads. She is one of three siblings, all of whom reside in Kiowa County along with her parents, Vergel and Wanda Lessenden. She graduated from Eads High School and attended college in Pueblo, where she studied business administration. After graduation, she returned to Eads and started working as a legal secretary for Gary Davis, Attorney. She also did some side work for Gary Woodward, CPA, as an accountant. She did that for fifteen years before starting work at the hospital in August of 2002. Her first job at the hospital was as the Human Resources/Payroll Director. In 2006, she became the CFO. Shannon lives in Eads with her husband, Mike, who also grew up in Eads and graduated from Eads High School. They have two children: Marissa, who lives in Nebraska, and Dylan, who lives in Missouri.

Jasmine Shea

Jasmine Shea,

Jasmine Shea serves as Chief Nursing Officer at Weisbrod Memorial Hospital, bringing more than 25 years of nursing experience and over 15 years in healthcare leadership to her role. A dedicated and compassionate leader, Jasmine is committed to advancing patient-centered care, supporting clinical excellence, and strengthening healthcare delivery in rural communities.

 Throughout her career, Jasmine has developed and led programs that improve trauma readiness, enhance substance use disorder treatment, and elevate quality and performance standards across nursing departments. Her leadership emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based practice to ensure the highest quality of care for every patient.

 Jasmine’s passion for rural health extends beyond hospital walls. She serves as President of the Lamar Community College Nursing Advisory Board and contributes to state and regional initiatives through the Colorado Rural Health Center Policy and Legislative Committee, Regional Emergency and Trauma Advisory Council (RETAC), and multiple professional nursing organizations.

 Her dedication and impact have been recognized with several honors, including the Plains to Peaks ER Nurse of the Year (2022) and the Nightingale Regional and State of Colorado Award (2024).

 Jasmine holds a Master of Science in Health Care Transformation from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She is also a Certified Rural Health Care Professional with advanced certifications in trauma and emergency nursing.

Chief Compliance Officer Renay Crain upholds rigorous standards, fostering a culture of integrity, trust, and accountability across the organization. Supporting it all, Chief Human Resources Officer Beth Spady strengthens our workforce through recruiting, developing, and retaining the people who make compassionate care possible.
