Secretary
Mary has served on the board as an elected member since 2016. She was previously the board president but stepped down. She is committed to serving until May of 2027. Mary and her husband live in Eads.
Mary was born in Lamar and grew up in Eads. She graduated from high school and worked at the Eads clinic for several years as a receptionist and medical assistant. She moved to Colorado Springs to attend accounting school, and then onto Denver in the early 70's. She began working for Colorado Interstate Gas (CIG), got married, and had daughter Katie. She devoted 17 years to CIG. During her employment she relocated to Shoshoni WY and started volunteering as an EMT in her spare time. Mary left WY in 1994 to return to Eads where she married Whit Eikner. She dedicated her time to working at the school, volunteering as an EMT, and even serving as ambulance director. Additionally, she spent several years working at the clinic and hospital before retiring in 2015. Mary was motivated to become a board member due to her understanding of the hospital's operations, and she recognized the value this insight could bring to the board. She has served on the board for about eight years and is excited about the hospital's journey ahead.
Director
Jerry Weber was raised in Sheridan Lake, Colorado, one of seven children in a family rooted in faith, hard work, and community values. After graduating from Plainview High School, he pursued diesel mechanics in Denver before returning home to build a life and business where his heart belonged. In 1980 Jerry founded Weber Water Service, which grew from a solo operation into a thriving business supporting the oil and gas industry. Alongside entrepreneurship, Jerry embraced public service—first as a city council member in his early 20s, then as Mayor of Sheridan Lake from 2000 to 2025, where he led by example, often taking on physical work to improve his town.
Jerry’s deep ties to the community also led him to serve on various boards, including Kiowa County Growers Inc., the financial committee of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, and as a founding and current Vice President of the Kiowa County Economic Development Foundation. His commitment to rural healthcare was deeply influenced by personal experiences, motivating him to serve on the Weisbrod Health Board as a way to give back to the system that provided him with critical care during times of need. A former volunteer EMT and firefighter, Jerry continues to inspire others through his quiet leadership, unwavering service, and devotion to family—values now reflected in his son, Quinton, who serves alongside him in both business and community leadership.
